UBC partners and leaders from state and federal government agencies gathered at the Idaho Fish & Game Regional Offices in Pocatello this November to plan future restoration projects. Most of the agency leaders in attendance had participated in the UBC field trip in September. That opportunity for visiting UBC project sites allowed leaders to identify sites where both their agencies and UBC were already at work or planning restoration projects in order to coordinate efforts.
Such coordination ensures that work by UBC and state and federal agencies realizes its full potential. UBC and the Forest Service identified the Upper Lanes Creek Project as a candidate for coordinated effort.
At this November meeting, agency leaders provided input and suggestions for future UBC projects. They also identified existing and anticipated agency-led projects that would benefit from UBC funding.
