A River Story - Upper Blackfoot Confluence

The Upper Blackfoot River is one of the last strongholds for Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout in the West. This watershed is also home to some of the largest phosphate mines in the country as well as important agricultural resources for the local community. United in an effort to restore native fish habitat and improve river quality, mining companies, conservation groups and local ag producers have teamed up to ensure the long-term health of the Upper Blackfoot River.
